R 601 is cylindrical shape, is well tipped and well coloured. It matures after 45-50 days, with root length 15-18 cm and weight about 200g. The variety has a sweet flavoured characteristic, with white flesh. Vigorous and resistant to bolting, it performs well and has a good yield.
